Marketing Assistant

We are seeking a smart, hardworking, organized, creative, overachiever to join our team as a Social Media Marketing Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting The O’Kelly Consulting Group’s overall marketing and sales initiatives by planning, implementing, and maintaining traditional and social media marketing efforts through a variety of channels for our clients.

KEY responsibilities INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Developing and implementing monthly social media content calendars

  • Monitoring and responding to inbound communication and direct messages via social media channels

  • Planning and writing compelling, brand-compliant copy for a variety of digital platforms (i.e. email campaigns, social media organic, and paid media campaigns, etc) 

  • Understanding each individual client, the message they are trying to send, and the target market that will be used to portray that message

  • Completing social media audits and generating monthly social media and advertising reports for clients

  • Maintaining our company’s data-driven and results-driven approach to marketing

  • Managing client’s online reputation and presence

  • Meeting clients face to face to maintain relationships with key stakeholders and stay up to date on initiatives, upcoming events, and goals (monthly, or as needed)

past experience (desired but not required):

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience

  • Professional content creation experience

  • Experience running digital campaigns

  • Experience with social media management platforms (i.e., Later, Hootsuite, SproutSocial, HeyOrca, etc)

  • Proficiency with Canva

  • Proficiency with Mailchimp

  • Proficiency with Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc.)

  • Proficiency with G Suite (Sheets, Docs, Forms, Slides)

  • Client facing experience

Graphic Designer - project based

 
 

We seek a talented and versatile Freelance Graphic Designer to create compelling social media graphics and edit menus for our restaurant and service-based business clients. 

This role is project-based and ideal for someone who is mainly skilled in using Canva, Adobe Photoshop,  and Adobe InDesign and who can work within established brand guidelines to produce visually appealing designs.

Key Responsibilities:

Design Social Media Graphics:

Regularly create flyers and graphics for various social media platforms, including Facebook Event Covers, Instagram Stories, and Instagram Posts.

Menu Editing: Occasionally update and edit menu layouts and content in Adobe InDesign

Brand Consistency: Follow specific brand guidelines for each client, including typography, color palette, brand icons, and patterns, to ensure consistency across all designs.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and  Adobe InDesign.

  • Strong portfolio showcasing skills in graphic design, particularly in social media graphics and print layout.

  • Ability to adhere to brand guidelines and effectively translate them into compelling designs.

  • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.

  • Good communication skills and responsiveness to feedback and revisions.
